I purchased a new Kohler marine generator and a three year old unit showed up that was stuff full of broken parts and would not run out of the box. I was told that I had purchased a "new" generator but not a "new new" generator and therefore it had been sitting in their inventory for so long the warranty had expired.
A Kohler factory tech called my mechanic and told him how to fix the known factory defect which involved a plugged pressure switch. Then Kohler had the nerve to state that by following the directions of the factory tech we were not following the warranty process!!
After seven months the generator is still not working. Everyone that I have dealt with at Kohler had been extremely dishonest and had a bad attitude.
This person wrote the review because of damaged or defective of kohler generator from Kohler. Reviewer claimed that he or she lost $11000 and wants Kohler to issue a full refund.
The most disappointing in user's experience was fraud, lies and bad attitude. The author asks this business to immediately contact him/ her to briefly discuss his/ her negative experience with the company.
